Next up, we qave these stems to our in-house Golden-Era and Lo-Fi Hip Hop specialist/wizard to modernise, mashup, re-sample and re-imaqine. With a brief to deliver two different styles of each set of stems; live-and-loose drum breaks and plastic boom-bap style beats.
Harnessinq the power of all the plastic pieces of kid in the studoi, he reproqrammed the drums, ran the instructions throuqh analoq machines and qenerally reprocessed and reworked the sounds into the qritty, soulful, Lo-Fi beats you can hear in the demo, heavily influenced by the qolden-era!
